Hallelujah Living is a Christian prayer, encouragement, teaching and watchman outreach, begun in 1993 by former engineer, businessman and pastor, Richard Snyder and his wife Diane. As non-denominational, Bible-first persons, we are committed to prayer, a surrendered faith-walk, teaching according to Scripture, edifying the Church and warning of spiritual dangers. Privileged also, to be doing the work of evangelists in perennial quest for lost souls.
Soon after our 1976 conversion in the Sangre de Christ (Blood of Christ) mountains near Santa Fe, NM, we were fully engaged in the local church and other ministries. Richard gravitated to leadership and in 1979, was called by a mainline church into full-time pastoral service. Seventeen years and many faith challenges later while the two of us were having a doctrinal discussion, God abruptly and simultaneously spoke to our hearts. His few words brought us up short, precipitating enormous lifestyle and ministry changes.
That momentous encounter prompted the immediate sale of our personal effects and modest Albuquerque home. We exchanged them for an 18-1/2 foot travel trailer, a 142,000 mile-old van, an itinerant lifestyle and what has since become Hallelujah Living Ministries. It also birthed our first book, “Arrested by God.” Now, 18 years later with many scars and stars, it's with thanksgiving and rejoicing, we greet you in the name of Jesus, our faithful Savior and Lord.
