If you’re not familiar with our subject, stay tuned.  To coin a word (Islam-i-nazism) and quote another: “its on its way to a theater near YOU.”  Final tweaks of the international stage are now being made for a ramped up production. Suggesting history’s final play will start with a bang is a macabre pun that ushers in a time of unspeakable planetary horror.

Evil’s darkest shadow stands at the world’s door as deceived and deceitful world leaders race for its knob.  Despotic men of death and depravity are now plotting to plunge the world into a time of apocalyptic terror and turmoil.  Life as we’ve known it in America, with all its opportunity, promise, hope, peace, safety and freedom, could well become but a sweet memory.  This is our gravest threat since the civil war.

Islaminazism

It already threatens the entire world

"This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths." — Zec 14:12 NIV

Survivors of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic blasts  of August 1945, gave the following reports:  "People ... had no hair because their hair was burned, and at a glance you could not tell whether you were looking at them from the front or in back ... I can still picture them in my mind — like walking ghosts.  There were lots of naked people who were so badly burned that the skin of their whole body was hanging from them like rags.  I looked at the face to see if I knew her.  It was a woman of about forty.  A gold tooth gleamed in the wide-open mouth.  A handful of singed hair hung down from the left temple over her cheek, dangling in her mouth.  Her eyelids were drawn up, showing black holes where the eyes had been burned out."¹

We’re not the first to suggest our text might be describing the horror of nuclear warfare.  Further, neither we nor many far better geopolitically informed persons can easily discharge the haunting and ghastly specter of nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists.  That is to say, Islamic radicals.  Frighteningly, in Pakistan, 50 such weapons and enough material to make 50 more are now a single bullet removed from falling into their eager hands. So far, president Musharraf has dodged it in three assassination attempts.  If would-be assassins are successful, that muslim country is almost certain to be taken over by its radical fringe ... as will its nuclear stockpile.  North Korea now also has nuclear technology, plus long-range missiles and is exporting both to the mideast.

As unsettling as these realities are, it’s understood in the intelligence community that Al Qaeda is aggressively working to acquire such weapons.  Some believe they might already own them.  In a 1998 closed door meeting with members of the U.S. House of Representatives, Alexander Lebed, Boris Yeltsin’s security secretary, reported that in 1998, Russia’s Defense Ministry recorded more than 700 sales of nuclear materials to buyers, in and outside of Russia.  He further informed our government that only 48 of their 132 nuclear-laden suitcase bombs could be accounted for.  They had no idea where the 84 missing devices might be!  In 1997, Steve Kroft of 60 Minutes, asked Lebed how easy it would be to steal one.  He said a person could carry one down a Moscow (or New York) street and never raise an eyebrow.  Chillingly, he further revealed that no secret codes are needed and detonation could be prepared in as little as 20 minutes by one person.  That’s all it takes to trigger this nuclear weapon.¹

Graver yet, Iran, in blatant disregard of world-wide opposition, is feverishly developing its own nuclear production capability and long-range missiles.  At the same time, Iran’s president, Ahmadinejad, openly publishes his goals of eradicating Israel, the Jews and Christians ... then subjugating the world under Islamic (Sharia) law, which offers but two options: submit or die.  This defines Islaminazism.  Terrorism is their prime tactic, executed by proxy through subsidiaries such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and the Muslim Brotherhood.  Moreover, millions of homicidal followers are eager to become martyrs for the cause.  Islaminazis PR is very effectively handled by a manipulated liberal media.

What makes all this so troubling is that Ahmadinejad is not your garden-variety madman.  He’s an extreme religious fanatic, self-perceived on a divine mission to incite a violent, world-wide confrontation between Muslims and all peoples of other religions; between the faithful and “infidels.”  According to his Islamic sect (Sh’ia Twelvers) the return of their “messiah,” the Twelfth Imam, can only take place after this cataclysmic struggle.

America is a risk NOW! Paraphrasing Santyana, if we do not learn history’s lessons, we are destined to repeat them.  Case in point: in the mid-1930s, another emerging madman from an equally distant land spewed his genocidal anti-semitism.  He also published his fanaticism for the whole world to consider ... and it fell on all but deaf ears here in America during a time of national introversion.  Because he was not confronted and stopped before gathering formidable power, he plunged the world into a death spiral that required all the might and resources of the entire free world to defeat ... but not before extinguishing the lives of 62,000,000 souls.  History has placed this fanatic’s toxic treatise, Mein Kampf and its author, Adolph Hitler, with the world’s Herods, Hamans and Husseins in its hellish Hall of Horror.

Back then, prior to jet planes, communication satellites, cell phones, ICBMs, the internet, radar or nuclear weapons ... a common question likely was: “How can Hitler threaten us way over here in America?” Well, guess what?!  His scientists developed deadly artillery, submarines (U-boats), rockets, jets, and was well under way to creating the atomic bomb.  His infamous V-1 and V-2 rockets rained terror and devastation on London.  His genocidal death factories came near to destroying the entire Jewish race and his U-boats all but controlled the high seas and threatened America’s Atlantic coast.  This madman was also deep into genetic tinkering in his quest to create a superior ruling race.  His ultimate goal was to rule the entire world.  God forbid the world, America or the Church should forget this horrific history lesson!

America’s risk TODAY is vastly greater.  Not only because of military and technological advances, but far more challenging is the religious motivation of our enemy.  Most of the free world’s contemporary enemies have been power-motivated and basically rational, therefore (i.e.) the cold war M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction) deterrent strategy worked.  The would-be first-strike aggressor understood that the consequences would be national destruction.  Both the Soviet Union and the U.S.A. had the addresses of the other’s vital assets programmed into targeting devices of nuclear-tipped missiles ... on guard 24/7 for 40 years.  Reason thus prevailed and warfare was confined to the realms of economics, politics and rhetoric.  BUT Islaminazism isn’t rational. It’s driven by extreme religious, reason-transcending, homicidal fanaticism.  Hell uncorked!

More reasons to pray • Most local churches follow the world as much as the Word.  •Having all but excised God from our culture, today’s morally-handicapped and enemy-infected America, might not have the will to battle Islaminazism to victory.  •President Bush, an island of moral certainty, is surrounded and besieged by a sea of amoral appeasers.  •We are funding our enemy in the form of $90-a-barrel oil with which to defeat us (California’s governor boasts a stable of 5 Hummers and there’s a gas-guzzler in most of our nation’s garages). •Washington has not set this nation on a war footing politically and economically ... only militarily (with tenuous support) even though the Islaminazis have been at war with us since 1979 when Iran sacked our embassy.  •Islaminazis have no address or uniform to target.  •Islaminazis exalt a culture of death but we, one of life, creating a huge moral inequity.  •Islaminazis conceal military assets behind and beneath innocent civilians.  •Iran is now waging military war against America, with Iraq being the front-line battlefield.

The ailing heart of America is at risk of being vaporized in a mushroom cloud.  One “dirty” 10-kiloton nuclear bomb detonated in Washington, DC could destroy many federal buildings, kill thousands of key leaders and render America’s capitol uninhabitable for a quarter of a century.  A single explosion might well terrorize citizens into swapping much of our dwindling freedom for security.  It would no longer be “Home of the brave and land of the free.”  How about bombs also in NYC, LA and Chicago?  Is it possible such deadly devices are now being moved into place?  That threat now camps at this nation’s doorstep and only an informed, aroused, unified, committed and divinely led people will prevail.  We are facing a very long and difficult war, but its first battle must be waged on our knees and won in our hearts.

The Church must repent of a fatalistic view or abandonment of such issues.  God reminds: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2Chr 7:14).  Consider Columbus’ reflections about his voyage that led to the founding of our nation: “All who heard of my project rejected it with laughter, ridiculing me.  There is no question that the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit because He comforted me with rays of marvelous inspiration from the Holy Scriptures.”  Church, we must wake up and pray!
