The Christmas Scam

With a single lie, spelled   S-a-n-t-a  C-l-a-u-s,   Satan has misled billions about Christmas, blinding eyes of both tots and adults to their Saviour, Jesus.  To them, the Babe of Bethlehem has become a Child of Obscurity — scorned and rejected in Santa-land.  Santa Claus has become Satan’s most dynamic and demonic innovation of the Christmas season.  Satan even arranged to have his own name attached to our Lord’s birthday; simply by shuffling the letters of   S-A-T-A-N  it becomes  S-A-N-T-A.   The highjacking of this Christian holy day has been made possible by failure; failure of God’s people to obey the Bible and pull down this Jesus-competing idol.  (“Be not conformed ...”  Rom 12:2)

Satan knew that if he could brainwash our kids, he could likely blind them for life.  And hasn’t he!  Sweet, lovable, harmless, gift-giving Claus captures all, Christians included.  He’s pretty much convinced the world that Christmas is his day, his big celebration.  Now, after generations of parents lying to their tots, Claus has his mythical but lethal “claws” imbedded in the hearts of an entire population.  Disturbingly, many of these same  parents are Christians, blindly promoting this Satanic scam.  They insist the Santa-idol is okay because, “He’s only a myth.”  Wake up church!  This phony is usurping glory due only our Lord.

I hope to persuade believers to a more biblical view of Christmas and pray this card will be used as an evangelistic tool.  To that end, it starts with, “The Real Christmas Story” intended for reading to a child.  “Yes!  Dear Virginia” follows as a biblical rebuttal to the perennial, “Dear Virginia!” letter which misleads millions annually.  More of my Christmas poetry then precedes an explanation of Christianity on pages 14 and 15 (including how one can be saved).  I pray it will bless you and become a fruitful tool in your hands — to His glory.
