Thanksgiving

Let us give thanks unto the Lord

Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? — 1Co 10:16

All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God — 2Co 4:15.

You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God — 2Co 9:11.

Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving — Eph 5:4.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God — Php 4:6.

... rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness — Col 2:7.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful — Col 4:2.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone — 1Ti 2:1.

They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth — 1Ti 4:3.

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving — 1Ti 4:4.

"Amen!  Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honour and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever.  Amen!" — Re 7:12

He is worthy of all our thanks and praise!
