Who is this Jesus?

He is our Advocate (1Jn 2:1), the Almighty (Rev 1:8), Alpha and Omega (Rev 1:8) and our Amen (Rev 3:4).  He is the Angel (Gen 48:16; Ex 23:20,21), Angel of God’s Presence (Is 63:9), Angel of the Lord (Ex 3:2; Judg 13:15-18), Apostle (Heb 3:1), Arm of the Lord (Is 51:9), Author and Finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2).  He’s the Beginning of the creation of God (Rev 3:14), Blessed and only Potentate (1Tim 6:15).  The Branch (Jer 23:5), Bread of Life (Jn 6:35), Captain of Salvation (Heb 2:10), Chief Cornerstone (Eph 2:20) and Shepherd (1Pet 5:4). Jesus is also the Commander (Is 55:4), Consolation of Israel (Lk 2:25), Counselor (Is 9:6), the Dayspring (Jer 30:9; Ez 34:23), Deliverer (Rom 11:26) and Door (Jn 10:7).

But He's more!

He’s the Elect One (Is 42:1), Eternal life (1Jn 1:2; 5:20), Everlasting Father (Is 9:6), Faithful Witness (Rev 1:5; 3:14), the First and Last (Rev 1:17; 2:8), Firstborn of all creation (Col 1:15), Firstborn from the dead (Rev 1:5), our Forerunner (Heb 6:20), Glory of the Lord (Is 40:5), Good Shepherd (Jn 10: 14), Great High Priest (Heb 4:14), Head of the church (Eph 5:23; Col 1:18), Heir of all things (Heb 1:2) and Holy One (Ps 16:10; Acts 2:27; 2:31).  He’s the Horn of salvation (Lk 1:69), the I Am (Ex 3:14), Immanuel (Is 7:14), Judge of Israel (Mic 5:1), the Just One (Acts 7:52), King of Israel (Jn 1:4:9), King of the Jews (Mt 2:2), King of the saints (Rev 15:3) and King of Kings (1Tim 6:15; Rev 17:14).

Jesus is also the Lamb of God (Jn 1:29), Last Adam (1Cor 15:45) and Life (Jn 14:6).  He is the Light of the world (Jn 8:12), the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Rev 5:5), Lord of all (Acts 10:36), Lord of glory (1Cor 2:8), Lord of righteousness (Jer 23:6) and the Lord God Almighty (Rev 15:3).  He’s our Mediator (1Tim 2:5), Messiah (Dan 9:25), Mighty God (Is 60:16), Morning Star (Rev 22:16), the Only begotten (Jn 1:14), Prince of life (Acts 3:15), Prince of Peace (Is 9:6), Redeemer (Job 19:25; Is 59:20; 60:16), our Rock (1Cor 10:4), Savior (2Pet 2:20; 3:18) and Servant (Is 42:1; 52:14).  He's called Shiloh (Gen 49:10), Son of David, the Son of God (Lk 1:35; Jn 1:49), Son of the Highest (Lk 1:32), (Mt 9:27), Son of Man (Jn 5:27; 6:37), Surety (Heb 7:22), True God (1Jn 5:20), True Light (Jn 1:9)  and the True vine (Jn 15:1).

Additionally, He is the Truth (Jn 14:6), the Way (Jn 14:6), Wisdom (Prov 8:12), Wonderful (Is 9:6), the Word (Jn 1:1; 1:14), the Word of God (Rev 19:13), Word of life (1Jn 1:1).  Dear friend, Jesus is very God!  He is Yah (Is 26:4).

This same Jesus Loves YOU!

Can you grasp that?

There is no way of measuring His limitless love ... for it was written in blood on a wooden cross in Judea some two-thousand years ago.  Its crimson stain spells, “I love you!” and He desires a personal relationship with each of us.  Jesus wants to be YOUR Saviour, Lord and Advocate before the Father.  In Him is forgiveness, peace, hope, joy, healing and life eternal.

If you’ve not already done so, won’t you surrender to King-Jesus ... today?  In the Bible’s closing lines of the last chapter of its final book, Jesus reminds: "Behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me" (Rev. 22:12a).  When He soon returns there’ll be no remaining doubt.

It’s ALL about Jesus!
