Love’s in the air

"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me" (John 14:23,24).

Love is not today’s only airborne vibration.  Also within earshot are rumblings of WW-III and the calamitous agony of apocalyptic horror.  Predictably, most folks (Christians included) are going about their lives, unaware of the imminent danger.  If that be you, look up and look out!  The stage is nearly set for history’s final act.  Revelation’s scarlet harlot is mounting the resurrected “beast” and its prophesied leader is preparing to step into the spotlight.  Circumstances are coalescing to an end-time climax and, in order to stand, we need be prepared; informed, prayerful and filled with the Spirit (Mk 13:9; Lk 21:36).  Avoid being blind-sided!

Begin studying end-time scripture: Mt 24, Mk 13, Lk 21, 2Pet and Revelation.  They’ll lead to Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, Zechariah, Zephaniah, Hosea, Nahum, etc.  Relate ancient biblical names to today's peoples, tongues, places and nations.  Study history from a biblical view.  Discount most retail media as worse than worthless; the same for much touted as “Christian.”  Through a biblical lens, aided by reliable intelligence and news sources, observe what’s going on geopolitically.  Keep your eye on Europe; especially Germany, the Vatican and England’s grave condition.  Also, check out the Bavarian Baron, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg.

Above all, seek God’s help (He grants wisdom for the asking — Jas 1:5) and maintain an attitude of prayer as you study.  Scripture also tells us to be discerning regarding what we hear from the pulpit.  Become a good Berean: "... they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so" (Acts 17:11b).  Many churches, even entire denominations, have become apostate.  We’re in those times of which Jesus and the apostles forewarned and churchdom is now rife with false doctrine, teachers and ear ticklers.
