Birthing Time
Spring is coming
I sense it in the air!
Though it's freezing
the weather's turning fair
Seed books are in
days are thawing out
They're still skiing
but winter's losing out!
It was SIXTY Monday afternoon!
I saw new grass, (NEW grass) peeking through!
A brand new green, buried beneath the brown
I almost heard it, "Release me from this ground!"
It won't be long, I'll be turning earth
planting season, the time of NEW birth!
I "died" in Spring fifteen years ago
also "born again" with new chance to grow!
EVERY thing dies to bring forth the new
Spring IS coming, pregnant JUST for you!
