Closet Time

In my closet time
and in that holy place
I sit with You Lord
in the presence of Grace.

You wash with Your Word
and remove all the soil
I’m made clean again
from the grime of my toil.

You lift and You heal
and You restore my soul
You make new again
Your promises of old.

How sweetly you speak
ever patient You are
You remove my sin
to a distance afar.

You anoint my mind
with Your Truth from above
and lighten my soul
like the wings of a dove.

In my closet time
in the presence of Grace.
