Daily Direction

Whisper, no — shout to
this ever-eager soul
my Lord and my Father!
Let me hear the wisdom
of Your ways and Your
counsel for me this day.

How precious are Your words
and needful for my very
life, Oh, Righteous One.
They fall from heaven
as raindrops of liquid gold
enriching all who would listen.

Speak to this blood-bought
child Your will
which I delight in doing.
Demand of me faith-works
that will please Your
heart and glorify You today.

Thank you Father for feeding
and leading this hungry son
in the way I should go.

are provided in My Word,
My Son and by My Spirit.”
