Born AGAIN?

Is it possible, O Lord
to be born-again, and AGAIN?
To have years of communion
then enjoy it all over AGAIN?

Could an OLD saint be a new babe
in my Lord’s arms yet one more time?
To be tenderly nurtured, fed
and loved like a wee one sublime?

Lord, that’s exactly how I feel
even though I’m in the home stretch!
You’re as new, fresh and wondrous
as the day You saved that young wretch.

Have I been born-again, AGAIN
or is this what You’ve held in store
where EVERY day with dear Jesus
gets BETTER than the day before?

Heaven’s where I truly WANT to be
to spend eternity with thee.
Where all things are fresh and new
and Christ is like the morning dew.

I want to be born-again, AGAIN,
and again, and again and again!
