Evening Prayer

I magnify Your name, O
holy God of love, mercy,
power and abundant grace.
How blessed are we
to whom You show favor
by forgiving our sins!

You have led me this day
through a hostile world
and delivered me to safety.
My heart overflows
with thanksgiving and praise
to He Who knows no bounds.

In peace and the safety
of your keeping, I now
lay me down to sleep.
My heart rejoices in the hope
of my Saviour and rests
in the power of Your Spirit.

Great and awesome is my God
Whose might has hung the stars!
Your mercy endures forever
and Your grace knows no end!
Holy, holy and righteous is He
Who lives within my heart!
