Gracious Father

O God, Your power and might
eclipse the galaxies and
Your beauty is more than orchids!
Your grace and lovingkindness
are as heavenly waters
that cleanse, restore and enable.

I know You receive worship
through the righteous covering
of my Sanctifier, Jesus.
Be pleased with Your love in me
and rejoice in a grace-child
redeemed by Your own blood.

In the glare of Your holiness
accept my obeisance before
Your seat of mercy and grace.
Lean forward Almighty One
and hear the love of a heart
unworthy of Your ear.

I thank you righteous Father
for blotting out all my trespasses
and forgiving the sins of my walk.
Receive adoration and praise
reserved for You alone
Holy Spirit, my Saviour, my God.
