Peace of God
— To uplift, inform and challenge —
Fellow Servant,
A commonality of most incoming ministry mail is various expressions of anxiety. In fact, so prevalent, it would be easy to conclude that the Church lacks as much peace as does the world. The Department of Homeland Security views as "potential (Following from The American Dream1 — 2/07/12) Love America? Are you against a one world economy and a one world government? Do you deeply love individual liberty? Do you believe in conspiracy theories? If you answered any of those questions affirmatively, then you are a potential terrorist according to a brand new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report that was just released in January 2012. In vivid detail, I mentally walked through its park, streets, stores and three movie theaters; even around and through our family’s four-room cottage on a washboard-like, country dirt road. Names, prices, places, faces and spaces all appeared as clearly as printed on this page. So disturbingly real, I wondered if the episode signaled a crashed mind-drive ... or if that’s what happens just before one dies. Very unsettling. Last Updated (Tuesday, 24 January 2012 21:43) |
