Words of truth, hope and life

If you are a believer, these Bible verses are sure to edify, encourage and delight your heart.  If you are not yet “In Christ”, we pray His Spirit will use them to woo you into salvation so that Jesus will become your Saviour and Lord too.  When a person is born again, The Bible says that he or she is baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ Jesus and will reside with and in Him, eternally.

Hopefully you’ll study these verses; even memorize them.  Many have testified that during times of great trial, Scriptures stored in their heart helped them persevere and to prevail.  Therein is wisdom, hope, power and the strength to see you through those difficult valleys of life.  Feast!

“In Christ”

• RO 3:22-24 — Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

• RO 8:1-2 — There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

RO 8:38-39 — For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

RO 12:5 —  So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1 CO 1:30 — But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.

• 1CO 15:22 — For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

2CO 1:21 — Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God.

2CO 2:14 —  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us.

• 2CO 5:17 — If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

• 2CO 5:19-20 — God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

• GA 3:26 — Ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

GA 3:28 — There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

GA 6:15 — For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

EPH 1:3 — Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

EPH 1:9-10 — Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him.

• EPH 2:6 —  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

EPH 2:10 — For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

EPH 3:10-11a — To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

PHP 2:5 — Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.

PHP 3:14 — I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

• 1TH 4:16 — The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

1TH 5:18 — In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1TI 1:14 — And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1TI 3:13 — For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

• 2TI 1:9 — Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

2TI 1:13 — Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

2TI 2:1 — Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

PHM 1:6 — the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

“In Whom”

• EPH 1:7 — In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.

EPH 1:11 — In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will.

• EPH 1:13 — In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

EPH 2:21-22 — In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:  In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

EPH 3:10-12 — To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,  According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:  In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

• COL 1:14 — In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

COL 2:3 — In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

COL 2:11 — In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.

1PE 1:8 — Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.

2PE 1:17 — For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
