Cows and Christians

The chorus of the song, “Old McDonald Had a Farm” is “ee-ii-ee-ii-oo”.  Frankly, I think it’s really a melodic groan because of a farmer's 24/7 responsibility; gardening likewise.  In a sense, farmers and gardeners are willing slaves.  However, both endure because of the joy and rewards.

Similarly, believers are Love’s “slaves;” also for the joy and rewards (check out the retirement program).  However, the difference between choosing to serve cows, a cause, a company ... or serving God, is monumental.  As the supreme Sovereign, He chooses us.  NOT we Him! (Eph 1:4)
