National tumult is imminent

What follows is NOT a "Thus saith ...".  Nonetheless, information and intelligence sources regularly studied in light of scripture in recent years, strongly suggest that calamity is upon us.  Moreover, that it will soon manifest so suddenly as to catch most, including government, by surprise ... like a whirlwind.

Night upon day and for years, I've struggled with a deepening foreboding about this nation's declining moral and economic condition's impact on the church.  On Christ's beloved.  Though hugely grateful to have lived in America, I do not write for patriotism's sake, but out of concern for precious brothers and sisters in the faith.  For the well-being of so many who, seemingly unaware, are unprepared for the tumultuous (even calamitous) time straight ahead.  It is to benefit them with additional insight, that they might be conservatively proactive, to the extent that limited time now permits.

Complicating matters is the near wholesale lack of pertinent and honestly-reported news in America. To emphasize the great disparity between mass media pap and reality, please consider recent reporting of Toronto's G-20 leadership meeting of the world's main industrialized nations.

Although we do not read "news" papers or watch TV "news," I can state with confidence, the media either missed or neglected to report on the conference's most significant outcome.  Instead, it likely showed clip upon clip of burning vehicles and sign-carrying street protesters; talked endlessly about the U.S. president pressing counterparts to increase their "stimulus" spending and of his glowing success, or about the meeting's billion dollar cost, etc.  For certain, nothing was said about it being a PR and diplomatic disaster for America.  Or is it likely they meaningfully reported on its breathtaking resultant policy change for this nation and the world.  I suggest that was either under-emphasized or neglected altogether.  Yet, it's of great global and church import.  Here it is in all its prophetic splendor:

By proxy, Germany has assumed economic leadership of the ENTIRE WORLD.  Henceforth, G-20 nations will no longer look to America for that superpower role it served for over half a century.  They've pledged to follow Germany's lead and in so doing, have further marginalized American influence.  Indeed, they are convinced we are racing toward an economic cliff with our peddle-to-the-metal.

This major policy reversal, when coupled with other rapid changes taking place in Europe (notably in Germany) paints a picture portraying just about everything any sane person would never want to hear about or even happen to their enemy.  To those having knowledge of European history and a biblical perspective, implications of this should make the hair stand up and all but march off their bodies.  It is stunning!  Yet, being biblically foretold, it was guaranteed to come about.  It's real, well underway and destined to eventually impact every citizen of the world.  It will profoundly affect you, your loved ones and obviously, the visible church.  These are truly extraordinary times.

BUT ... did you pick up the gravity of this monumental event from the media?   Quite doubtful.  Perhaps at a later date we can re-visit this matter and amplify its profound significance.

Please hear me now.  Hear my passion for all who labor under the love-yoke of Christ.

What I've just shared is of utmost import to every Christian and their loved ones.  If it did not trip alarm bells, whistles or red lights within, it's likely a matter of you being mis or under-informed.  That notwithstanding, the Bible reminds: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." NOW, if you will indulge the Spirit to read the (generally unreported) remainder of that verse: "...  because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children" (Hosea 4:6).  Dear one, we lovingly remind that each of us have a responsibility under God to apply His Word to our lives, implicit in which is its understanding.  We're to be as "wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Mt 10:16).  Moreover, if we need divine help, it is scripturally guaranteed. "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways" (Jas 1:5-8).  It's by navigating this life according to God's Word and Spirit, that we might avoid our enemy's traps.

We believe this nation has entered a very tumultuous period ... that calamity is imminent and that some things which historically happen gradually, will occur SUDDENLY.  Moreover, economic, social and ethnic events usually associated with so-called, "third-world" peoples, will manifest in our midst.  Being a-political (and as unpalatable the view) we remain convinced America's current leadership is God's will for these times and that this nation has surrendered to its enemies.  Although you might reject the notion that the south sides of Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26 are in play, we believe otherwise.  It depends upon one's prophetic view of greater Israel.

In the fervent desire to help avoid some of the distress about to descend on us all, we make closing reference to now urgently relevant suggestions included in various of our publications since August 2004.  Understandably, it's already too late to as easily affect some.  Here they are:

• Reduce your debt  • Rid yourself of as many unessential payments as you can (cable TV, etc)  • Lower your cost (standard) of living  as much as possible  • Jettison (even at a loss) the bigger home, car, RV, etc.   • Cash out or redirect dollar-vulnerable investments  • Convert under-used assets to cash (sell off)  • Lower your transportation cost.  In short, put your household on an austerity budget.  Get tough on yourself by transitioning to a leaner lifestyle. I dare say, for many, that will come about ... one way or another.

Most importantly, commit to an Acts 2:42 lifestyle (And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers).  Seek God with all of your heart, mind and soul ... He will be found (see 2Chron 14-15).  Be "radical" — take God at His Word.  Know also that you and yours remain in our prayers and be comforted in the knowledge that followers of Christ are squarely on God's side.  The WINNING side!  Be equally certain that our Lord will soon return to vanquish evil, deliver His own and establish His righteous Kingdom here on earth.  Oh! what a wonderful future lies just the other side of what's now beginning to come our way.  Be at peace
