2012: Into The Pre-known

Today's crises and chaos were long ago recorded.

It is no exaggeration to state that we are living in one of history’s most prophetically dynamic and tumultuous times.  Yet, by God’s Word, believers can greet each day with confidence and positive expectancy.  We can walk through the mists of chaos, confusion ... even calamity, and emerge into His brilliant Sonlight with hope for the day and glorious visions of the future.

Predictably, Russia’s Vladimir Putin¹ is politicking for more power, likewise Chicago’s Emanuel Rahm.²  Similarly, America’s Marxist³ president openly desires to skirt Congress and the U.S. Constitution.  Venezuela’s dictator, Hugo Chavez,⁴ modeling himself after communist Cuba’s Castro, is but a step ahead of them ... compatriots of many would-be-kings and despots of the day.

Biblically predictable?  Absolutely!  Although the principle of government is of God, the Bible makes plain that the exercise thereof by fallen mankind in a world ruled by the father of lies, can ONLY tend in one direction: downward.  Regardless how well intending, noble or righteously based a government’s founding, it will eventually lead or force constituents toward depravity, poverty and destruction.  It’s a pre-known.

Granted, these are very general “pre-knowns.”  However, scripture also provides specifics about the future; certain matters its Author deems important for us to know.  For instance: •the Church will be fraught with wolves, false teachers and others who will lead it astray (1Pet 2, etc.)  •many believers will no longer tolerate God’s Word (2Tim 4:3)  •some will depart from the faith (1Tim 4:1)  •the Church will suffer great apostasy (2Thes 2:3)  •that both heaven and hell are (respectively) gloriously and painfully real (Mt 3:2,17; 5:22, 29,30) etcetera.

Scripture clearly foretells of Israel’s national reconstitution, and Great Britain and America’s decline can be discerned ... as can Iran’s rise to regional power and “whirlwind” defeat (along with its confederacy of rogue nations).  Much is also said about what’s happening in Europe today.  So let’s pause here to briefly consider it.

Because of self absorption and condescension towards Europe, Americans lack an awareness of how prophecy is being fulfilled in and through their present economic crisis.  The fact that 26 European Union (EU) nations are now begging Germany to rescue them, is enough to make the likes of Bismarck, Wilhelm and Hitler celebrate in their graves.  It's astounding that she now essentially controls the economic destiny of Europe.  It marks the accomplishment of a generational goal which she failed to achieve through two instigated world wars that caused the death of over 50 million.

This is nothing short of remarkable, especially considering it was but a mere 20 years ago that she was reunited; that she had to spend some $2 trillion to rehabilitate its eastern side after half a century of communist rule; that 46 years prior, she had been bombed to smithereens.  Moreover, that she doesn't even have the superpower accouterments of aircraft carriers, nuclear weapons⁵ or military bases abroad.  It's borderline miraculous.  Yet ... centuries of Teutonic dreams are now being realized without a shot being fired.

Germany has a robust economy and a huge cache of gold.  She is again powerful, re-armed with a cutting edge military and on the march with imperial vision and ambitions.  No wonder those souls who remember WW-II’s sound of Nazi hob-nailed boots on cobblestone, tremble anew.  That which conquering nations of 66 years ago vowed would never again be permitted by the world community ... is happening and destined to fearfully impact us all.

Evident throughout greater Europe are unmistakable stirrings of the final Holy Roman Empire.  Watch now, as England exits the EU and the remaining 26 nations reconfigure into the prophesied 10 nation/groups that surrender sovereignty to the beast's lead nation.  Regarding it, there's speculation that its soon-to-be-drafted head, is temporarily residing in Greenwich Connecticut (the same one who on December twelfth was offered an EU post).   Tip: monitor the Vatican/Bavarian-Germany nexus.  Also pay attention to Berlin/Moscow relations.  Historically, treaties between them ... especially of the "Mutual Defense" variety, have presaged war.

"Pre-known"?   You bet!  The essentials of all this is in the Bible.

We're witnessing the emerging beast of Revelation 13.  Likewise, its (un)“holy” rider of Revelation 17 is rapidly coming into view since Rome’s Mario Draghi⁶ assumed leadership of the European Central Bank (ECB) on November first.  A mere six weeks later, the world's financial markets gyrated as this Jesuit held the global economy hostage on the cusp of its imminent collapse.  That is, until 26 EU nations capitulated to his demands for more power (England refused).  Mark it down: with commerce as a weapon and a reconfigured EU their vehicle, Berlin and Rome are marching in lock-step towards global trade domination.  The time of reckoning for those wanting to buy or sell is racing towards us (Revelation 13:17).  It’s all in the Bible.

Though it's all pre-known, portions will be billed as "breaking news" in 2012.

Granted, some is speculative, but the essentials are cast in biblical concrete.  Also foretold and anchored in the foundations of the cosmos (hardly a footnote) is that our Lord Jesus Christ will soon return to rescue Israel and establish His 1000-year earthly kingdom.  Hal-lay-loo-YAH!
